Enjoy the ease of staying in our beautifully restored eight-guest room Inn (additional 60-room Golden Plough Inn within walking distance), ceremony on one of the farm’s many picturesque ceremony sites, both indoor and outdoor, followed by a reception in our elegant barn.

The Barn

Illuminated by a grand, custom ironwork chandelier, the exposed stone walls glow and provide the perfect backdrop for an indoor ceremony, reception, and dancing. The barn’s two balconies and windows offer unique, sweeping views of the farm, fantastic sunsets, and starry night skies. Our state-of-the-art sound system provides high-fidelity music and audio from your DJ or band. Full air conditioning and heating ensure comfort any time of year. Doors across the backside of the barn open onto a bluestone terrace, perfect for passed hors d’oeuvres and cocktail hour during warmer months. Two bathrooms on this level.

The Bar

Located directly off the main reception space, our bar room features the original built-in service bar with punched tin panel fox heads, bathroom, terrace access, wood-burning fireplace, and distinctive metal framed bay window for stunning views and photographs.

Ceremony Location

Indoor
The Barn side or Loft side of main reception space – choice of indoor ceremony under the grand chandelier with characteristic fieldstone wall backdrop or the Loft side appointed with dramatic oak beam trusses and double height windows bathing the space in natural light and offering views across the lower fields and pond.

Outdoor Breezeway Lawn
This hilltop location is bordered by a stone garden wall, covered bluestone entrance, and elevated views of rolling hills, fields, the pond, and surrounding woods.

Terrace & Breezeway

The covered breezeway leads guests down its stone steps and pathway from the lighted parking lot to the terrace and main reception space. Wrapped along the backside of the barn, with marble top tables and a bluestone ledge for seating, the terrace provides a perfect space for guests to mingle during cocktail hour.

Bridal Salon/Dressing Area

Located in the inn’s breakfast room, the bridal salon is bathed in natural light from windows on three sides of the room. Four stations with lighted mirrors and cushioned stools have been specially equipped for hair and makeup use. The living room and library, also on the main floor, are provided for even more open space for bridesmaids to gather and get ready. Offering deep-silled windows with hooks to hang dresses, and outlets for steaming these rooms accommodate all bridal party needs.

Tack Room

Connected to the stables on the barn’s lower level, the converted tack room was originally where the horse bridles and saddles were stored. Redesigned for the groomsmen to dress, relax, and prepare for the ceremony, the tack room is outfitted with a dressing room, wet bar, mini refrigerator, leather couch, and big screen smart tv.

Stable

Appointed with original touches like the wall-mounted original stall doors, the large brick-floored stable now serves as a game room. Just off the tack room, groom and groomsmen can play ping pong, corn hole, and putt putt. This versatile room also serves as a great space for a rehearsal dinner, cocktail hour, indoor ceremony, or any type of gathering.

Brick Walkway

Below the newly replanted apple orchard, our brick walkway carves a winding path down the hill from terrace and barn entrances to the inn. Studded with beautiful specimen trees, a stone boulder wall, and bar room exterior, this walkway is perfect for romantic send-offs and is also the ADA path from the inn to the reception space.

Inn

Enjoy full access to the eight bedroom inn as the bridal party and family gathers for your special day. In addition to eight guest rooms, this spacious residence has four common rooms, breakfast room, and outdoor terraces all designed to gather and spend quality time with loved ones in the most picturesque setting.

COI (certificate of insurance) from all vendors onsite
Required to rent the Inn the day before and day of the wedding (off season may not be required)
