Fonthill Castle

This former home of archaeologist and tile maker Henry Chapman Mercer features 44 rooms and over 200 windows.

The Moravian Pottery & Tile Works Museum

Adjacent to Fonthill Castle, the Tile Works museum was originally built by Henry Mercer, the leading artistic tile maker in the American Arts and Crafts Movement. Book a tour to see the tiles being made using Mercer’s historic methods. The tile on the floor of the powder room at The Inn at Fox Briar Farm features original tile from the Tile Works.

Mercer Museum

Built to house Henry Mercer’s extensive collection of objects representing everyday life in the pre-industrial age, this castle features more than 40,000 early American artifacts.

The Michener Art Museum

Delaware Canal State Park

Take a hike or bike ride through the Delaware Canal State Park, which offers scenic views of the Delaware River and the canal that was once used to transport coal and other goods.

Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve

Take a 15-minute drive down the beautiful Aquetong Road to check out Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve to see the natural beauty of the area! Afterward, you could continue on down to visit Washington Crossing Historic Park, where General George Washington crossed the Delaware River in 1776 during the Revolutionary War.

Cuttalossa Farm

Enjoy the charm of Cuttalossa Farm – one of the most photographed locations in the area and once home of the renowned painter, Daniel Garber. The towering sycamores and hemlocks are flanked by winding hillsides and rhododendrons with a gentle flowing stream.

Hike Ringing Rocks Park

This 128-acre site contains rocks that resonate like a bell when struck. Ralph Stover State is also nearby and features Bucks County’s largest waterfall.

  • The venue does *NOT have an elevator. There is an outdoor ADA path that guests may use to go between upper and lower levels of the venue. A golf cart is also available upon request to transport guests.
  • The Inn at Fox Briar Farm offers the “Kim” room to guests with accessibility needs. This ground floor room is ADA compliant.
  • Handicap parking is available to guests.

What are the breakfast hours?

 Breakfast is served daily from 8AM-10AM with tea and coffee available 24/7

Can I bring my pet with me?

 Unfortunately we do not accommodate any pets.

How many guests are allowed in a room?

Our rooms accommodate two adults. Please call or email to request an exception.

Do you allow children?

We welcome guests 12 years and older. Please call or email to request an exception. We will accommodate when possible.

What if I have to cancel my stay?

A full refund is granted if cancellation is made 14 days or further in advance. There is no refund if the reservation is canceled within 14 days of reservation.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in begins at 3PM daily. Check-out is at 11AM. Kindly contact us in advance of your stay if you would like to check in early or stay a little longer.

Do you have any ADA accessible rooms?

 Yes, Kim’s room is our ADA accessible room on the ground floor. 

Do you have an elevator?

We do not have an elevator on the property.
